张燕根，1963出生于江西省樟树市。
2008年：应邀参加荷兰国际雕刻艺术创作营暨雕塑研讨会，创作《对话》，荷兰ASNE博物馆永久收藏；参加中日韩艺术交流展(佛山)；参加中国当代艺术家工作室特邀展(深圳)。
2007年：作品《天卵》参加中国当代雕塑展(深圳)，为总参工程指挥学院创作《魂》石雕。
2006年：为总参工程兵指挥学院创作《长城.工兵颂》(锻铜浮雕)，作品《遗忘》参加“大海·音乐”中国当代雕塑展(厦门)。
2005年：出版《张燕根雕塑》（广西美术出版社），为钦州市创作《海豚门》城雕。
2004年：获第四届国际标志设计双年奖铜奖，为南宁市人大会堂创作《文明八桂 盛世吉祥》大型建筑景观艺术，为钦州市创作《海韵》城雕。
2003年：应法国政府邀请作为中国唯一艺术家赴法国马提尼克专题创作《天堂之树》，作品被法国政府永久收藏，法国电视台、报纸作专题介绍；编著《装饰雕塑》（广西美术出版社出版）。
2002年：参加比利时La Fête de Mai 国际造型艺术展，并作为中国唯一代表应邀参加比利时国际雕刻创作营，创作《天堂之蛋》被比利时政府收藏，比利时国家电视台专访，《自然与艺术》等三种外语杂志作介绍，作品图片比利时发行法语版贺年卡；《苍穹》中国第二届雕刻艺术节，艺术节组委会收藏（福建）。
2001年：参加加拿大温哥华“亚洲艺术展”，作品《弦》被温哥华市政府收藏。
2000年：《浑元》“中国当代雕塑展”，中国首届雕刻艺术节组委会收藏（福建）。
1999年：应法国政府邀请作为中国唯一艺术家参加法国一毛里塔尼亚迎接千禧年国际雕刻创作营，创作《希望》；壁画《无题》入选第九届全国美展并获广西美展一等奖，作品收入《中国当代艺术1979—1999》。
1998年：应邀参加中国桂林国际雕塑创作营并创作《海之印象》，桂林愚自乐园国际雕塑园永久收藏；参加中国美术馆举办个展（北京）；参加北海银滩公园创作《海门》。
1997年：参加中国当代艺术大展获设计奖（北京）；广西区政府委托设计制作赠送香港特区政府唯一礼品《同心桥》（合作），香港特区政府永久收藏；参加“海上名家作品联展”（新加坡）；参加广西博物馆举办个展（南宁）。
1996年：参加朱屺瞻艺术馆举办个展（上海）。
作品被中国文化部、中国现代美术博物馆、上海朱屺瞻艺术馆、广西博物馆，和德国、比利时、新加坡、法国、加拿大、美国及中国香港等地艺术机构和私人收藏家收藏，中央电视台、新华社、中新社、《人民日报》、《中国日报》、《光明日报》、《文汇报》《美术》、《美术观察》、《江苏画刊》、《艺术世界》、《雕塑》、《画廊》、《美术界》和比利时、法国、荷兰、加拿大等国家新闻机构及专业刊物发表作品或专题介绍。

Zhang Yangen was born in Zhangshu City, Jiangxi Province in 1963.

2008: invited to participate in the Netherlands International Sculpture Art Creation Camp and sculpture seminar, creating dialogue, the permanent collection of Asne Museum in the Netherlands; participated in the China Japan South Korea Art Exchange Exhibition (Foshan); participated in the special exhibition of China Contemporary Artists Studio (Shenzhen).

In 2007, his work "heavenly egg" participated in China Contemporary Sculpture Exhibition (Shenzhen), and created "soul" stone sculpture for the general participation Engineering Command College.

In 2006, he wrote "Ode to the great wall and engineers" (forged copper relief) for the chief engineer's Command College, and his work "forgotten" participated in the "sea and music" China Contemporary Sculpture Exhibition (Xiamen).

2005: Published sculpture of Zhang Yangen (Guangxi Fine Arts Publishing House), and created city sculpture of dolphin gate for Qinzhou City.

2004: won the bronze medal of the Fourth International Logo Design Biennial award, created the large-scale architectural landscape art of "the auspicious age of eight GUIs civilization" for Nanning people's congress hall, and created the city sculpture of "Haiyun" for Qinzhou City.

2003: as the only Chinese artist invited by the French government, he went to Martinique, France, to create the tree of paradise, which is permanently collected by the French government, introduced by French TV stations and newspapers, and compiled decorative sculpture (published by Guangxi Fine Arts Publishing House).

In 2002, he participated in La f ê te de Mai international plastic art exhibition in Belgium, and was invited as the only representative of China to participate in Belgium International Sculpture and Creation Camp. His creation of "egg of paradise" was collected by Belgium government, interviewed by Belgium National Television, introduced by three foreign language magazines such as "nature and art", pictures of which Belgium issued French version greeting cards; sky China's second Sculpture Festival, collected by the Organizing Committee of the festival (Fujian).

2001: participated in "Asian Art Exhibition" in Vancouver, Canada, and his work string was collected by Vancouver municipal government.

2000: Hunyuan "China Contemporary Sculpture Exhibition", collected by the Organizing Committee of the first China Sculpture Art Festival (Fujian).

1999: as the only Chinese artist invited by the French government, he participated in the French Mauritania Millennium International Sculpture and Creation Camp to create "Hope"; the mural "Untitled" was selected into the Ninth National Art Exhibition and won the first prize of Guangxi art exhibition, and his works were included in "Chinese Contemporary Art 1979-1999".

1998: invited to participate in China Guilin International Sculpture Creation Camp and create "impression of the sea", Guilin Yuzi Paradise International Sculpture Park permanent collection; participated in China Art Museum to hold individual exhibition (Beijing); participated in Beihai Yintan park to create "Haimen".

1997: won the design award in China Contemporary Art Exhibition (Beijing); Guangxi district government commissioned the design and production of Tongxin bridge (cooperation), the only gift from Hong Kong SAR government, which is permanently collected by Hong Kong SAR government; participated in the joint exhibition of works of famous artists at sea (Singapore); participated in the individual exhibition held by Guangxi Museum (Nanning).

1996: Zhu Qizhan Art Museum held a solo exhibition (Shanghai).

The works are collected by the Ministry of culture of China, China Modern Art Museum, Shanghai Zhu Qizhan Art Museum, Guangxi Museum, art institutions and private collectors in Germany, Belgium, Singapore, France, Canada, the United States, Hong Kong and other places, CCTV, Xinhua news agency, China News Agency, people's daily, China Daily, Guangming Daily, Wenhui Pao《 Art, art observation, Jiangsu pictorial, art world, sculpture, gallery, art circle, and national news organizations and professional journals such as Belgium, France, Netherlands, Canada published works or special presentations.
