李新（1923.8~2000）江苏省泰兴市人，油画家。曾任南京艺术学院教授，中国美术家协会会员，江苏省文史研究馆馆员，江海书画会名誉理事。1946年入苏州美专西画系，师从颜文梁教授，专攻油画。1950年毕业后留校，先后任教于苏州美专、华东艺专和南京艺术学院，从事油画教育和油画创作。曾在南京、庐山等地举办个展，作品在美国、日本、新加坡等国和港台地区参展或收藏。代表作品有《艺术大师颜文梁》（江苏省美术馆收藏）、《云台秋色》、《戈壁信使》等。代表论文有《颜文梁与中国动画教育》、《感受与联想》等。出版有《李新油画集》等。个人业绩收录于《世界美术家传》（华人卷）、《世界名人录》等。
