向京，上海师范大学美术学院雕塑工作室教师，向京的作品多关注女性，并且以真实为灵魂。也因此，她的作品得到完全不同的评价。有人认为她是艺术天才，有人认为她的作品很脏。喜欢她作品多是女性，因为那才是真正的她们。而大多数男性觉得难以接受，因为她们不够美。
1968年生，女，北京人。1988年毕业于中央美术学院附中。1995年毕业于中央美术学院雕塑系。现任上海师范大学美术学院雕塑工作室教师。1995年参加北京当代美术馆举办的三月四人展。毕业作品《护身符》等获中央美院毕业生作品展一等奖及日本松冈家族基金会一等奖，作品被中央美院收藏。同年参加中国美术馆举办的中华女画家邀请展。1998年参加中国美术馆“世纪.女性艺术展”、“弦外之音画展”。1999年《白日梦》、《不飞的天使》等五件作品参加北京·新时空--ART专处空间举办的"世纪末艺术之旅·第二回展"，作品《空房间》入选"第九届全国美展"并获优秀奖，作品《一杯冰水》等五件作品参加成都现代艺术馆举办的"中国当代雕塑邀请展"，作品《我的娃娃》等九件作品参加刘海粟美术馆举办的"海平线--2000绘画雕塑邀请展"。2001年，作品《禁闭》、《冰凉的水》等四件作品参加在成都现代艺术馆举办的"架上样板--第一届成都双年展"。作品曾在《当代艺术：女性与艺术的生态自述》、《艺术家》、《典藏》等刊物发表，并被海内外机构及私人收藏。
