苗新田(1944.3—)山西霍州人。擅长雕塑。1960年入山西省文化局美术实验厂学习雕塑。先后在山西省人民文化宫美术组、山西省美术创作组、山西省美术工作室工作。山西省美术院美术师。作品《帆》、《太阳·泉水》入选全国首届城市雕塑设计方案展览；《情》入选建军60周年全国美展。
中国美术家协会会员。
中国雕塑学会会员。
工艺美术大师。
山西省传统工艺美术保护与发展协会常务理事。
具有国家颁发的“城市雕塑创作设计资格证书”。
