男，1960年2月出生，山西原平人。1983年毕业于山西大学美术系雕塑专业，获学士学位；先后在太原市园林局设计室、太原市城市雕塑院、山西大学美术学院工作。曾任太原市城市雕塑研究所创作室主任。现任职于山西大学美术学院，副教授；中国美术家协会会员，中国雕塑学会会员，获全国城市雕塑建设委员会颁发的城市设计资格证书；研究方向：城市雕塑人物肖像。　　从事专业雕塑以来，创作完成近30件大中型城市雕塑及大量架上雕塑作品，多次参加全国美术作品展并获奖。其中：《能源纪念碑》（合作，太原火车站广场雕塑）获全国城市雕塑优秀作品奖，山西省文学艺术创作特等奖。《母与子》参加全省美展并获奖。《小河》参加第七届全国美术作品展，获山西省美术作品一等奖。《挠羊》参加全国第二届体育美展。《三代同乐》参加香港回归全国美术大展。《角力》参加纪念延安文艺座谈会讲话发表60周年全国美展。《将军·诗人——续范亭》入选建党70周年全国美展。城雕作品《徐向前纪念碑》等。
