陈子庄美术作品

陈子庄，著名国画大师，名福贵，又名思进，别号兰园、南原下里巴人。晚年在画上直书石壶，四川荣昌（今属重庆永川）人。民国2年（1913）10月15日，生于永川县永兴场（今永荣镇），1976年7月病逝于成都，终年63岁。1955年受聘任四川省文史馆研究员，是四川省政协委员。　
陈子庄幼时家甚贫，六七岁时启蒙于私塾，自幼受其父熏陶，酷爱绘画。曾向著名大画家黄宾虹、齐白石学习。1950年入西南军政大学高级研究班学习。他的绘画艺术植根于数千年传统文化土壤，在长期研究中国传统书画理论的基础上，他在50年代开始变法，逐步形成了自己的艺术思想体系和独特的“子庄风格”。被誉为“中国的梵高”。
著名美学理论家王朝闻曾说，陈子庄的作品显示了不傍人门户的独特面貌，这就是创造，也就是前进，这就是传统的继承。著名文学评论家冯其庸说：“石壶的画初看似乎貌不惊人，但是只要你稍微仔细看看，就会发现你面对着的是一位惊世骇俗的不同凡响的、高出于自己时代的具有绝代才华的卓越画家。”
陈子庄善山水、花鸟、人物、书法、篆刻、诗词等。他之所以有如此境界，主要是他抱着“仰之弥高”、“钻之弥坚”的信念，潜心绘事，弘扬民族文化。近年来，陈子庄的传世佳作，曾在北京、上海、香港、新加坡等地区展览，盛况空前，尤其是他的300幅遗作，1988年3月20日至27日，由中国美术馆、中国美术家协会、四川省美术家协会在北京中国美术馆展出，每天观众高达1万余人。
陈子庄的名字已编入《中国美术家大辞典》和《近百年美术史册》。文化部出版的《中国五十年美术》，其中四川被列名的仅有3人，陈子庄为其一。台湾编辑的《画坛巨匠》，也为陈子庄列专辑。陆续出版过《陈子庄作品选》、《陈子庄速写稿》、《石壶画集》、《陈子庄画集》和《石壶论画语界》等。
陈子庄艺术陈列馆由重庆市市政府正式批准，在永川市红河经济技术开发区修建。
