邬烈炎(1956.7—)江苏南通人。擅长水彩画。1980年毕业于南京艺术学院美术系。后在南京艺术学院设计艺术系任教。作品《瓶中荷叶》入选全国第三届水彩、粉画展，《野花野草》入选首届中国水彩画艺术展，《静物》入选中国美协第十次新人新作展等。出版有《色彩》、《邬烈炎静物画集》。
南京艺术学院博士生导师、设计学院院长、96江苏省红杉树园丁奖（银奖），2001江苏省优秀教师等称号，被评选为"江苏省‘333‘跨世纪学术技术带头人"（第三层次）等。为中国美术家协会会员，中国流行色协会会员，江苏省美术家协会理事，江苏省壁画学会副会长。

指导的硕士论文于2006、2007年被评为江苏省优秀硕士论文。

获第10届全国美展银奖、第5届全国水彩粉画展铜奖，‘95全国室内评比一等奖等多项奖项。
作品多件入选《中国现代美术全集·水粉卷》、《中国现代美术全集·壁画卷》等10余种重要作品集，
在《美术》、《装饰》、《美术观察》等重要专业刊物发表作品多幅。
作品公共艺术多件为北京人民大会堂江苏厅、上海金茂大厦等单位采用。
应邀赴美国威廉·帕特森大学、西弗吉尼亚大学进行学术考察与示范教学，
应邀赴奥地利首相府艺术司国际艺术工作室进行创作与展览，并在欧洲10国进行艺术与艺术教育考察，
获‘96江苏省红杉树园丁奖（银奖），
