钱洪兵（又名钱泓兵），江苏宜兴人。现为中国美术家协会会员，南京师范大学美术学院副教授。
擅长水彩画。分别在宜兴徐悲鸿纪念馆（1989年）、江苏省美术馆（1991年）、深圳博物馆（1994年），南京艺术学院（1996年）举办个展。
水彩画作品参加“首届大陆水彩画名家邀请展”、“第八届全国美展”、“首届中国青年水彩画大展”、“中国首届水彩艺术展”、第二、三届“全国水彩画作品展”、“’97中国青年水彩画展”、“第七届中国水彩画大展”、第三、四届“全国体育美展”、“纪念中国共产党建党八十周年全国美展”（获优秀奖）、“首届全国小幅水彩画展”，十余幅作品在省美展上获奖。
作品被编入《中国现代水彩画艺术》、《中国当代水彩画精选》、《中国青年水彩画集》、《中国青年水彩画大展作品集》、《水彩画》、《今日中国美术》、《当代中国美术》等。
出版《钱洪兵水彩画特技》、《当代画家精品集——钱洪兵作品选》、《水彩画教程》等著作及画集。
论文有《对我国水彩画现状的思考》、《浅议影响我国水彩画振兴的四个难题》、《水彩画风格的多样性与语言的限定性》、《水彩画特殊技法介绍》等。
