于炳强，1947年生于山东平度，大专学历，师承于李忠民、晏文正等先生。现为中国美术教育研究会会员、山东省美术家协会会员，山东水彩画会理事，青岛市美术协会理事，青岛市普通教育教研室美术教研室美术教研员，中学高级教师，山东省特级教师，全国优秀美术教师，青岛市专业技术拔尖人才。
水彩作品代表国家出展埃及、摩洛哥。作品入选中国水彩画精选百人展，作品发表于《中国画家》、《山东教育》、《青岛日报》、《世界水彩画全集》等报刑杂志。作品被中国文化部外展司收藏。1995年，《石径》入选第七届中国水彩画大展。1997年，《晓》入选第四届全国水彩、粉画展。2002年，《秋》入选纪念毛泽东“在延安文艺座谈会上的讲话”发表60周年全国美展并获优秀作品奖。2002年，《丛林》入选首届中国水彩写生精品大展。2005年，《西域印象》荣获2005年山东省水彩、粉画展一等奖。2006年，《西域印象》荣获青岛市文学艺术创作提名奖。
