陆长根(1950.9—)上海人。擅长水彩画，油画。1964年就读于南京十中，1968年插队于苏北泗洪县，1972年来到南京市宁海中学任教美术，1986年毕业于南京市教育学院，1996年被评为江苏省中学美术特级教师。教学和学术研究成果颇丰，先后撰写教科研论文二十余篇并获奖和发表，出版美术专业辅导专著近十部，多次参加省市级教材编写，创作的绘画作品百余幅，部分作品参加了国际国内的各级展览并获奖和发表，其中参加编绘的“世界科技发展史画库”一书荣获国家级“五个一工程奖”。先后被评为“全国艺术教育先进个人”、江苏省“红杉树”园丁银奖。现为“中国美术家协会会员”、“江苏省艺术教育指导委员会委员”、“江苏省美术专业委员会副理事长”、“南京市文联委员”、“南京市美术家协会副主席”。
