任率英美术作品

任率英，原名敬表，中国现代连环画家、年画家，中国画家，擅工笔重彩人物画，多以民族英雄、古典小说、神话传说和民间故事为题材，长期从事中国画、新连环画、年画的创作。系中国农工民主党党员、中国美术家协会会员，曾任北京市东城区人大代表、北京市农民民主党文化工作委员会主任、中国连环画研究会顾问、北京东方书画研究社社长、北京工笔重彩画协会副会长、北京中国画研究会理事、北京工业大学书画协会顾问。
3岁丧母，7岁丧父，寄居舅父家。自幼喜好民间艺术，对绘画兴趣浓厚。时有当地老画师冯老智，聚徒讲画，任常趋而学技，是为启蒙。20岁因避战乱，只身去关外，流落哈尔滨，于一家文具店当学徒，后因肺结核病被辞退。抱病返乡，稍好，即刻苦钻研画技，觅得任伯年、王小某、费小楼等画家画谱（册）临摹自学。后以务农所得，求学于香港中国肖像学校，上海十联漫画函授学校，上海忠彪油画函授学校，北京国画函授学校等，学习四、五年，兼得诸法之长，眼界大开，画技遂高。旋将夏夜乘凉所听《杨家将》、《呼家将》、《岳飞传》等中人物勾画出来。因专心致志静攻细研不料肺病竟愈，大为慨然。
1937年去北京，从北京国画函授学校吴一舸学国画。后经雕刻家张志渔引荐，被著名人物画家徐燕孙收为入室弟子。专攻工笔重彩人物画。名师指导，艺技日进。之后，在北京、天津、沈阳、济南、上海、徐州等地多次举行画展，享有盛名。
1951年调人民美术出版社，任创作室专业画家，长期从事年画、连环画、中国画创作。时值盛年，精力充沛。著成《鲁智深》、《白蛇传》、《文君听琴》《劈山救母》、《西破童贯》、《桃花扇》、《昭君出塞》、《苏武牧羊》等连环画；《天女散花》、《嫦娥奔月》、《巾帼英雄》、《岳飞》、《花木兰》、《红娘子》、《百岁挂帅》、《红线盗盒》、《穆桂英大破天门阵》、《梁红玉击鼓战金山》、《荀灌娘突围救父》等工笔重彩年画。其中一些已被中国美术馆收藏。
“文化大革命”中，任被诬为“黑画家”，其大量年画被当作“四旧”送造纸厂化浆，长篇连环画稿《钟离剑》被抄。一些优秀的工笔重彩画传统资料，他只得依靠至亲好友保藏起来。然于艰难之中，托进驻出版社的工人师傅支持，极编辑出版了12辑《连环画参考资料》。
1978年后，任焕发了艺术青春，将毕生绘画之经验写成《怎样画刀马人物》一书，由人民美术出版社出版。书中叙述了刀马人物画史料、技法、及有关形象资料。是十分珍贵的技法著作。
任从画50年，绘画雅致细腻，精品迭出，且发行数之大，为国画史上所罕见。据人民美术出版社统计，仅1981-1985年，该社出版的几种任率英年画，印刷发行累计达1700多万份，其中主要作品《百岁挂帅》210万份，《虹桥赠珠》350万份《岳飞》264万份。而《嫦娥奔月》、《天女散花》、《洛神图》等年画年年再版，畅销不衰。
任的工笔人物画，画风工细艳丽，雅俗共赏。作品多次参加国内外展览，并被中国美术馆、历史博物馆等单位收藏。有关绘画技法文章，曾先后在《美术之友》、《河北美术》、《北京工艺美术》等刊物上发表，出版有《怎样画刀马人物》、《怎样学习工笔重彩人物画》等。
1986年春节前夕，任回家乡辛集举办画展，展出其40余年的年画精品。
1963年在首届全国连环画评奖中荣获“连环画工作劳动奖”。
1981年在第二届全国连环画评奖中荣获“连环画工作荣誉奖”。年画《百岁挂帅》被评为“全国年画创作二等奖”，有的作品两次获全国连环画创作荣誉奖。
1987年，中国美术家协会在中国美术馆举办“刘凌沧、任率英、黄均中国画联展”。
2000年5月，中国美术家协会等在中国美术馆举办“任率英绘画艺术回顾展”。代表作品有《嫦娥奔月》、《洛神图》、《巾帼英雄》、《天女散花》、《送戏到村》、《岳云》、《汉明妃》等。
对于在中国绘画史上占有重要地位的《八十七神仙卷》，任率英生前十分喜爱。20世纪60年代，任率英受聘于北京艺术学院教授中国画时，曾从此卷中选择部分人物，放大绘制作为学生线描的范画，让学生在临摹中了解体会中国画用线造型的规律。在七十岁退休后，任率英对此画稿念念不忘，产生了为《八十七神仙卷》设色的想法。
经过深思熟虑，在忠实原作的基础上将人物适当放大，把画面加高加长，人物手中的执物持杖添加完整，根据构图需要增补祥云、荷叶、栏杆，完成了《八十七神仙卷》的绘制工作。
赋色《八十七神仙卷》为仿旧绢本，画幅高72公分，长度435公分。完成后的《八十七神仙卷》，画面气势更加恢弘，服饰冠带华丽辉煌，五彩缤纷，绚丽而清雅，可谓是任率英再现工笔重彩神韵的成功之作。
