任卫东（字阜谯），枕砚斋主，毕业于安徽省艺术学院美术系，系中国国民党革命委员会成员。中国美术家协会会员；中国工笔画学会会员；阜阳市青年美术家协会副主席兼秘书长；阜阳市第二届宣传文化领域“六个一批”拔尖人才。其人治学严谨，潜心研究中国传统绘画艺术，且具有独特的认识。多年来陶醉于笔墨，主工笔兼写意，师淑宋元，画面幽清旷古，神情内敛，墨明境清，继承传统又有不断创新。其作品多次参加全国重要美术大展，并被数家馆院收藏。
2006年06月，作品《排列》入展《全国第六届工笔画大展》并收藏（中国美协）；2009年12月，作品《物好共荣·山水》入选中国第二届工笔山水画展（优秀奖）（中国工笔画学会）；
