班苓,曾任巢湖地区文化局、国画院专职画家、中国青年出版社和省旅游局宣传中心美术编辑，1997年调入安徽美术家协会工作。作品《小溪之春》入选全国第九届版画展获优秀作品奖；《十二生肖》“虎”和“龙”获全国第十四届版画展银奖；彩墨连环画《插花节》获第二届全国优秀少儿读物一等奖。

2001年版画《十二生肖》全套被中国美术馆收藏，1998中国文化部对外艺术展览中心收藏。部分版画作品被编入1999年出版的《中国当代美术1979-1999》外文版文献本，1997年的《中国艺术大展作品全集版画卷》等大型画册。创作7本连环画计千余幅画面，均已出版。女，1952年11月生，安徽巢湖人。中国美协理事，一级美术师，安徽美协副主席、中国版画家协会会员、安徽省版画艺委会副主任。获中国文联颁发的“德艺双馨”艺术家荣誉称号；获中国版画家协会颁发的80~90年代优秀版画家“鲁迅版画奖”；享受政府的特殊津贴，安徽省委宣传部颁发的“四个一批”拔尖人才。擅长版画、彩墨画、连环画。1974年毕业于安徽艺校，1983年、1986年两年进修于中央美院版画系。2013年11月26日，在中国美协第八届代表大会上，当选为中国美协理事。

  Ban Ling, born in Chaohu, Anhui Province, in November 1952, is a member of the Chinese Association of the United States, a first-class artist and vice chairman of the Anhui Association of the United States. Good at printmaking, color ink painting, comic strips. He graduated from Anhui Art School in 1974 and studied in Printmaking Department of Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1983 and 1986. He was a full-time painter of Chaohu Cultural Bureau, Chinese Painting Academy, China Youth Publishing House and Art Editor of Propaganda Center of Provincial Tourism Bureau. He was transferred to Anhui Artists Association in 1997. The work Spring of the Creek was selected as the Ninth National Printmaking Exhibition and won the prize for excellent works; the twelfth zodiac, the tiger and the dragon, won the silver prize of the Fourteenth National printmaking exhibition; and the colored ink comic strip, Flower Arrangement Festival, won the first prize of the second national excellent children's books.

In 2001, the twelve zodiac prints were collected by the Chinese Art Museum and by the Foreign Art Exhibition Center of the Ministry of Culture of China in 1998. Some of the prints were compiled in the foreign language version of the Chinese Contemporary Art 1979-1999 published in 1999, and in the large-scale picture album of the Complete Works of the Chinese Art Exhibition in 1997.
