Milo (20 April 1893 to 25 December 1983) was a Spanish painter, sculptor and pottery artist born in Barcelona. Dedicated to his work, Fundacimilo in Pavilion A was founded in Barcelona in 1975. In addition, Fundacipilar and Miro were founded in 1981 in his foster father city of Palma.
Having won international acclaim, his works have been interpreted as surrealism, subconscious, childish recreation, and the sandbox of Catalonia's proud performance. In numerous interviews dating back to the 1930s, Milo expressed his contempt for bourgeois society as a supportive way of traditional painting, and the famous "painting assassination" that declared in favor of establishing visual elements of painting.
