Alfred Sisley (1839-1899) was born in Paris in 1839, but his parents were both British. Sisley's father grew up in an excellent family environment because of his business success. Sisley spent her childhood in Paris. At the age of 18, Sisley followed his father's expectations and went to London to study for four years. When she returned, she worked in a business firm. But he liked to study literature and painting. He studied Shakespeare, Turner and Constable.
