Jean-Baptiste Pater (29 December 1695-25 July 1736) is a French Rococo painter.
Born in Valencia. Pat then moved to Paris to become a simple student, Antoine Wattle, in 1713 Wattle, although the treatment of Pat was severe and had a significant impact on him. But the two quarrels and Pat returned to Valencine, where he stayed for two years. In 1721, Pat and the dying Watto were not reconciled; then Pat became Watto's student again, although only one month before the latter's death. Pat later claimed that he knew everything he had learned in the weeks he spent with Watto. He was admitted to the Academy of Military Affairs in 1728 and performed a major military job in the popular style of Watto: Shangri-La (Louvre).
