《为吴宽作山水图》轴，明成化八年（1472年），杜琼绘，纸本，墨笔，纵108.2cm，横38.2cm。
此图绘深山幽谷，溪桥流水，林木草屋，极为森藐悠远。构图饱满繁密，用笔秀润苍健，画风慎密清逸，格调高远古朴，意境深邃澹然。本幅的构图取景与画家所著的《杜东原杂著》所述延缘亭情形颇似，明代著名书法家吴宽曾为画家作《重建延缘亭记》，此作很可能是绘此亭之景并以此相赠吴氏。
本幅款署：“成化八年壬辰中秋，杜琼为原博状元写意，时年七十有七。”钤“杜用嘉印”朱文、“鹿冠老人”白文、“敕□美人”白文印三方。“成化八年”为1472年。吴宽在明成化八年的会试、廷试中均得第一，故称其为“状元”。

This picture depicts deep mountains and valleys, streams and bridges, trees and huts, which are extremely remote. The composition is full and dense, the brush is beautiful, graceful and vigorous, the painting style is delicate and elegant, the style is high, ancient and simple, and the artistic conception is profound and calm. The composition of this picture is quite similar to the Yanyuan Pavilion described in Du Dongyuan's Miscellaneous Works. Wu Kuan, a famous calligrapher in Ming Dynasty, once wrote "Rebuilding Yanyuan Pavilion Record" for the painter, which is probably the scene of the pavilion painted and presented to Wu.
"In the eighth year of Chenghua, Du Qiong wrote freehand brushwork for the former Bo Zhuangyuan, which was seventy-seven years old." Jun "Du Yongjiayin" Zhu Wen, "Deer Crown Old Man" Bai Wen and "Beauty" Bai Wen Yin. The "Eight Years of Chenghua" was 1472. Wu Kuan won the first place in the eight-year conference and court examinations of Chenghua in Ming Dynasty, so he called it "the first prize".
