《药根和尚像》轴，清，罗聘绘，纸本，墨笔，纵120.8cm，横59cm。

　　本幅上方吴廷飏篆书“双树主人药根和尚像”。右下钤“罗聘之印”朱白文印。又伊秉绶、包世臣、阮元三家题记及印记六方。

　　据包世臣题记：“……药根居扬州新城花园巷内之双树庵，持界严而工诗。两峰宿根清净，与药根最善，一时名流题此像者遍其缃佚……”包世臣题中亦提及此像在药根逝后被山僧改款、后又被恢复原貌的坎坷经历。

　　本幅墨笔画药根和尚跌坐像。药根身著僧装端坐于大石之上，微须，戴风帽，宽袖中的双手拢于身前。人物造型准确，形象奇古，运线简朴，笔墨娴熟，由此可见罗聘佛像画的面貌。

Wu Tingbao's seal book "Drug Root Buddhist Images of Double Tree Masters" above this picture. Right lower Jun "Luo Bin's Seal" Zhu Baiwen Seal. There are six inscriptions and seals of Yibingshou, Baoshichen and Ruan Yuan.

According to Bao Shichen's inscription: "... Yaogen resides in Shuangshu Nunnery in Garden Lane of Yangzhou New Town. It has strict boundaries and works poems. The two peaks of perennial roots are pure, and the roots are the best. For a time, celebrities have made this image all over the world. Bao Shichen's title also mentions the rough experience of the image being changed by monks after the death of Yaogen and then restored to its original state.

This ink-and-ink painting depicts the Drug Root monk sitting down. Dressed in monk's clothes, Yao Gen sat on the boulder with tiny whiskers and wind caps. His hands in wide sleeves were close to him. Character modelling is accurate, the image is strange and ancient, the route is simple, and the brush and ink are skilled, thus we can see the appearance of Luo Bin's Buddha portrait.
