徐璋石星源像卷-清朝-人物

 

《石星源像》卷,清乾隆二十年(1755年),徐璋绘,纸本,设色,纵42厘米,横58.5厘米。

  本幅无款识,据卷后李世倬题语知此图为徐璋所作。图绘一老者坐于湖边大树下,左手踞地,右手自然置于膝上,身旁树根处置琴一张,丛树环生,老树枯枝间生出些许嫩枝,为画面增添了一点新绿。卷后有沈德潜、李锴、李世倬、介庵等题跋5则。题跋中以介庵所题最为重要,为研究此图的创作时间提供了重要信息。介庵题为一首集句诗,末识:“乙亥夏四月为石星源老友六旬大寿,介庵福集句。”此处明确了此图创作于“乙亥”年夏四月,即清乾隆二十年(1755年),系为石星源60岁生日而作。

  图中人物置身于湖光山色间,环境自然清雅,又有古琴一张,恰当地表现出人物的品格特征。人物面部刻画精细,衣纹用笔简练,颇具表现力。树木山水之画法亦极精到,体现出作者多方面的艺术才能。

"Shi Xingyuan Image" Volume, Twenty Years of Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty (1755), Xu Zhang Painting, Paper, Colour, 42 cm in length, 58.5 cm in transverse.

There is no money in this picture. According to Li Shiyi's inscription after the volume, this picture is made by Xu Zhang. The picture shows an old man sitting under a big tree by the lake, with his left hand resting on the ground and his right hand naturally on his knee. The root of the tree beside him disposes of a piano, which is surrounded by bushes. Some tender branches grow among the dead branches of the old tree, which adds a bit of new green to the picture. There are five postscripts after the volume, such as Shen Deqian, Li Kai, Li Shiyu and Jie'an. The title of Jie'an is the most important in the postscript, which provides important information for the study of the time of the creation of this picture. Jie'an is titled as a poem with a collection of sentences. At the end of the poem, I read: "April 1911 is the 60th birthday of Shi Xingyuan's old friend, Ji'an's collection of sentences of happiness." It is clear here that this picture was created in the summer and April of the year of "Yi Hai", that is, the twentieth year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1755). It was written for Shi Xingyuan's 60th birthday.

The figure in the picture is situated between the lakes and mountains, the environment is natural and elegant, and there is a Guqin, which properly reflects the character characteristics of the characters. Characters'faces are delicately depicted, and their clothing lines are concise and expressive. The paintings of trees and landscapes are also very sophisticated, reflecting the author's various artistic talents.
