《瓶菊图》轴，清光绪八年（1882年），虚谷绘，纸本，设色，纵126.2厘米，横57.7厘米。

　　此图为瓶插秋菊的小品画。构图匠心独运，巧于设置，高低错落的瓶和壶、“S”形走势的秋菊令画面富有活力，并形成多层次的节律变化。设色淡雅清新，笔法灵活娴熟，是虚谷晚年的花卉画代表作。

　　此图款署：“壬午冬月写于瑞莲精舍，虚谷。”钤 “虚谷书画”、“三十七峰草堂” 朱文印二方。“壬午”是清光绪八年（1882年），虚谷时年60岁。
